SOCIAL DISTANCING

We are finding ourselves in a strange time. As an artist, I find that creating can often be a wonderful tool for coping. But I am not the sole author of this story. The subjects here have allowed me to capture a moment of their time during this period of social distancing. They shared their hopes and heartbreak. They shared their joy and fears. People’s willingness to open up to me as a photographer in some of the most vulnerable ways is something I will never take for granted. I only hope I do them justice.

Please note: All subjects were shot while maintaining a distance of at minimum, 15-30 feet. Subjects will appear closer because of the lens.

Susie Hardie (organizer) packs care-packages of essential items to be delivered by Meals on Wheels volunteers to over 80 seniors.
Gloves, hand-sanitizer were used during packing and all bags will be sanitized at the moment of delivery.
